Access to and use of Italia Quality are governed by these Terms together with the specialist policies referenced in the Legal Center.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern the relationship between UESE ITALIA S.p.A. and users, Quality Scouts, business representatives and other platform users. Account-based functions may require acceptance of the current version of the applicable legal documents.
2. Accounts and credentials
Users must provide truthful information and keep credentials confidential. Fake accounts, impersonation, unauthorised access, unapproved automation and use of another person’s profile are prohibited. Suspected compromise or abnormal use must be reported promptly.
3. Nature of the service
Italia Quality organises community content, business information, reputational indicators and supporting services. Information from external sources may be incomplete or outdated; essential data such as hours, prices, availability and regulatory status should be independently verified.
4. User content
Users remain responsible for text, ratings, images and other content. Upon publication, users grant UESE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, limited to the period necessary to host, technically adapt, moderate, distribute and promote the content within Italia Quality and its channels, without prejudice to original ownership and mandatory rights.
5. Reviews
Reviews must comply with the Review and Authenticity Policy. In sectors covered by Italian Law 11 March 2026 No. 34, requirements include genuine personal experience, publication within 30 days, absence of incentives and statutory recency rules.
6. Quality Scouts
Quality Scouts are community users, not public officers, inspectors, certifiers or regulatory agents. They must comply with the Quality Scout Rules and Community Code.
7. Businesses and profiles
A business being listed does not imply membership, certification or a commercial relationship with UESE. A representative may request a profile claim and, once verified, use functions governed by the Business Policy.
8. Ratings and commercial independence
QV Score, QV Stars, Confidence and rankings are governed by the Rating and Ranking Methodology. Advertising, premium services, stickers or plaques do not purchase ratings, remove lawful reviews or modify organic ranking.
9. Moderation and measures
UESE may remove, restrict, de-index or suspend content/accounts when required by law, security, service integrity or policy enforcement. Decisions are governed by the Moderation Policy and, where applicable, DSA procedures.
10. Service availability and changes
UESE may update features, interfaces, algorithms, categories and services for technical, legal, security or product reasons. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed; reasonable continuity and recovery measures are adopted in line with the service architecture.
11. Liability limits
To the extent permitted by law, UESE is not liable for decisions made solely on community content, third-party outages, inaccurate external data or user conduct. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains unaffected, including wilful misconduct, gross negligence and mandatory consumer rights.
12. Suspension and closure
Accounts or functions may be restricted in case of fraud, manipulation, compromised security, repeated violations or legal duties. Users may cease use; retention, archiving, rights protection and dispute-handling rules may continue to apply.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
Italian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory rules. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction remains unaffected. For professional or business relationships, unless a binding agreement provides otherwise, the Court of Milan shall have jurisdiction.
14. Versions and changes
Material changes may be communicated through the platform or available contact details. Where necessary, continued use of certain functions may require renewed acceptance of the updated version.
