Italia Quality allows businesses to improve information on their profiles without giving them control over independent community opinions.
1. Presence on the platform
A listing may be created by the community, public/external sources or the business itself. Presence does not imply contract, endorsement, certification or prior UESE verification.
2. Claim
A person claiming a listing declares they are the owner, legal representative or authorised delegate. UESE may request documents, domain email, company extracts, delegations or other proportionate evidence.
3. VAT and locations
VAT identifies the business organisation and may legitimately relate to multiple venues. The same venue must not be artificially duplicated to manipulate results or reviews.
4. Profile data
A verified representative may propose corrections to name, address, contacts, hours and commercial information. UESE may verify sources and reject misleading or unsupported changes.
5. Review replies
Businesses may reply in a relevant, professional and non-intimidating manner. They may not publish Scout personal data, offer benefits to change ratings or threaten consequences for a lawful review.
6. Disputes
Review disputes follow the Notice & Action process. A commercial relationship with UESE does not create a right to remove lawful content.
7. Premium services
Analytics, management tools, support priority or premium services are separate from organic ranking. Features and fees are defined in the applicable offer.
8. Advertising
Advertising is identified as sponsored and governed by the Advertising & Commercial Independence Policy.
9. Badge use
Badges and recognitions may be used only while valid and must not be altered to imply certification. Businesses must remove representations that are no longer valid when required.
10. Claim revocation
Profile access may be revoked where representation ends, false information is supplied, abuse occurs, the business changes hands or security is compromised.
11. Responsibility
Representatives are responsible for information accuracy and permissions required for logos, images and uploaded content.
