Italia Quality recognitions make visible a reputational result achieved under predetermined rules; the result cannot be purchased.
1. Types
The platform may award Recommended, Excellent, Outstanding, Top 100, Best Region/Province, Community Choice, Most Improved, Hidden Gem and other recognitions under published or configured criteria.
2. Requirements
Criteria may include QV Score, Confidence, review count, documented visits, Scout diversity, territorial position and observation period.
3. Award
Digital recognition may be assigned automatically or after verification when conditions are met. No fee is required to “buy” the reputational merit.
4. Validity
Recognitions may have an expiry or reference year. Continued validity depends on requirements remaining satisfied and current data being available.
5. QR verification
Stickers and badges may carry QR or serial codes linking to a verification page showing status, year, score/confidence and other available elements.
6. Physical materials
Plaques, stickers or other materials may be sold as physical production/merchandising. Payment covers material/service and does not change recognition eligibility.
7. Proper use
Businesses must not alter badges, omit relevant expiry, use revoked recognitions or present them as accredited certifications.
8. Suspension or withdrawal
Recognition may be suspended/withdrawn where requirements lapse, manipulation or false data emerges, a material technical error is found or the badge is used deceptively.
9. Welcome Here
Any “Quality Scout Welcome Here” sticker indicates willingness to welcome the community and is not a quality recognition.
10. Not certification
All materials are private reputational recognitions of the platform, not certifications, public authorisations, inspections or compliance guarantees.
