Italia Quality favours traceable and correctable decisions. Affected users may request review of measures concerning them, subject to applicable law and policies.
1. Reviewable decisions
Depending on the case, review may cover content removal/restriction, account suspension, rejected business claims, visit-status changes, exclusion for suspected manipulation or other measures communicated as reviewable.
2. Complaint contents
The requester should identify the account/person, challenged decision, content/URL, reasons, supporting evidence and requested outcome. Excess data should not be submitted.
3. Channel
Complaints use tools available in the account or Legal Center. Where unavailable, they may be sent to info@uese.it with subject “Italia Quality – Review”, without prejudice to dedicated privacy channels.
4. Review
Where reasonably possible, review is performed by a different person/function from the initial decision-maker, especially for complex or materially impactful cases.
5. Factors considered
Original reasons, policies, law, new evidence, proportionality, relevant precedent and rights of the parties are assessed.
6. Outcomes
A decision may be upheld, changed or reversed. Content may be restored, corrected, remain restricted or be removed; accounts may be reinstated or remain subject to measures.
7. DSA
Where the service and decision fall within DSA provisions on internal complaint-handling systems, Italia Quality applies mandatory statutory requirements.
8. External rights
Internal review does not limit rights to approach authorities, out-of-court dispute bodies or competent courts where provided by law.
9. Abuse
Serial manifestly unfounded complaints may be handled with proportionate organisational measures without obstructing legitimate remedies.
