Italia Quality aims to be usable by as many people and devices as possible by integrating accessibility into design and maintenance.
1. Principle
Accessibility, readability, keyboard navigation, semantic structure, contrast, responsive design and understandable text are ongoing product goals.
2. Reference standards
Where relevant, the team uses WCAG and European accessibility standards as technical references together with legal duties applicable to the specific service type.
3. No self-certification
This policy is not a formal statement of compliance with a specific WCAG level or an accessibility certification without a dedicated documented assessment.
4. UGC
User photos, text and content may contain limitations that cannot be fully controlled. The platform may encourage captions and useful descriptions but cannot guarantee perfect accessibility of all UGC.
5. Assistive technologies
Updates should avoid undermining compatibility with modern browsers and reasonably common assistive technologies.
6. Reporting
Accessibility issues may be reported to info@uese.it stating page, device/browser, encountered barrier and, where possible, expected solution.
7. Improvement
Reports are prioritised by severity, frequency and impact. Fixes and refactoring may be released progressively.
8. Legal documents
The Legal Center uses readable layout, high-contrast text, hierarchical headings and consistent mobile presentation; future PDFs should also be assessed for document accessibility.
